The prior owner had this to say:”Guitar is in VERY FINE condition, showing minor normal playing wear. Some capo wear on the back of the neck between the first and second frets has been touched up. There is also the normally seen pickguard crack which has been professionally repaired.
According to George Gruhn, the top appears to be German Spruce, rather than the typical Sitka Spruce, found on the majority of D-18s of this period. The back and sides and neck are mahogany, bridge, fingerboard, and peghead are Brazillian Rosewood. Original Kluson deluxe tuners”
