Guitarbench

I built my first guitar in high school in Niles, Michigan, in 1957,  but didn’t start building seriously until 1996.  I have retired from my day job with General Motors, and  I now (average) build several guitars each year, all flattops.  My customers range from locals  to website shoppers to family, including 3 grandkids  The Sonic Sitka guitar is my 31st instrument.  Of my last 8 guitars, 7 backs/sides have been from wood I have harvested locally.  My website is    herronguitars.com  .
