Christian Druery wrote to us about this guitar: “This guitar was commissioned by the Global Musical Instrument Museum in Phoenix Arizona, and made by New Zealand Luthier Christian Druery, the brief was to best represent New Zealands unique indigenous timbers and Maori cultural designs, in a more traditional form.
The guitar will be a permanent exhibit in the Oceania section of the Museum which is due to open in April 2010.” Christian also had another guitar commissioned by the MIM.
