Bought a d-35 last year. Played about fifty martins till I found the right one. Thay still make 'em but you have to look. The axe is opening up fine and each day is better. Funney thing is. this 35 doesn't look so hot, lots of weave in the grain, and not tight enough in the middle. must just be the wood itself that makes it ring.
