It would also look better as a variable width centered , with the header's navbar background's width set to 100%. #2 looks pretty good, but has too many columns. I highly recommend that you find the e-book "Save The Pixel"; in fact I could probably email you a copy. A page with too much content is too overwhelming for viewers - they will be more likely to just pass over stuff. Keep it simple. Terence,
