I used to own a dead mint '51 D-18 that i regreted giving it away some months ago.It was a super loud and dry sounding guitar too,that "cut"in a bluegrass jam.Those guitars can be powerful. I had another '63 D-18,but the the '51 was a real winner. Sweet guitar!
