This gorgeous OM45 koa is a really example of what the Martin custom shop can do! This was clearly a special order, as Dick Boak specifically hand delivered to the instrument to the owner. It is also somewhat unusual in that it has a 45 style pearly purfling with tortoise bindings, which I think is a nice touch. Also, the bridge plate is the small maple version, rather than the larger rosewood ones which were the norm for this period (if I remember correctly!)
