Here’s a photograph I have very pleased with. It is a composed, non studio shot taken at the New Zealand work shop of Stephen Guitars. I used the light from a frosted window to create the shadows and tried my best to capture the texture of the unfinished wood.

The back and sides are of Blackthorn, an acacia species related to Koa. The top is Red Western Cedar with an inlaid rosette [photo pending]

This is parlor sized guitar intended to be strung with nylon strings and braced for a warm, intimate tone.
