Here’s a black and white photo taken at a Renbourn/Williamson gig at the half moon cafe, Putney, London. John Renbourn’s one of my guitar heros and it was a pleasure to hear him perform and an even greater pleasure to speak to him after the gig.
I had a lot of problems photographing the affair because of the high contrast, harsh lighting and the restrictions on the use of flash- so I shot in B&W to increase the mood and make the most use of the contrasts cast by the spotlights.
